Never allowed
- Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers children.
- Sexual or intimate images of a real person without their explicit consent, including face swaps and “undressing” edits.
- Putting a real person into a video or image without their consent, or making it look as if someone said or did something they didn’t.
- Face swaps involving minors or public figures (politicians, celebrities), in any context.
- Impersonating a person, company or official body to mislead or defraud, including fake receipts, documents, endorsements or news.
- Content meant to deceive voters or interfere with elections.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that promotes violence or terrorism.
- Instructions or imagery that help make weapons or cause serious harm.
- Infringing someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy.
- Malware, spam, or attempts to break, overload, scrape or get around Typeshoot’s limits and safety checks.
Faces and voices
- Only use your own face and voice, or those of people who have agreed.
- Before a face swap, the assistant asks you to confirm this. Confirming falsely breaks these rules.
- Face swaps carry a visible “AI-generated” label. Don’t remove it to pass the video off as real.
Third-party video
When you import a video from a link, you are responsible for having the right to use it in what you make and publish. Don't present someone else's work, voice or performance as your own.
AI disclosure
Follow the platform rules where you publish: TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and others require AI-generated or altered content to be labelled.
Enforcement
Providers' safety filters and our own checks may block requests. We review reports and may remove content, suspend or close accounts, and report illegal content to the authorities. See something that breaks these rules? Report it.
