1. Who we are

2. Your account
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
- Keep your password and API keys safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including through assistants you connect.
- One free credit grant per person. Creating accounts to collect more free credits is not allowed.
3. Credits
- Typeshoot is paid in credits. Each generation, edit or other paid action shows its price in credits before it runs.
- Credits are reserved when a job starts and charged when it succeeds. If a job fails on our or the provider’s side, its credits are returned automatically.
- Usage-based models reserve their maximum; you are never charged more than the reserved amount.
- Purchased credits do not expire. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged, except as described in the Refund Policy.
- Prices per model can change; the price shown before a job is the price you pay for that job.
Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
4. What you make
- As between you and us, you own the images, video and audio you create with Typeshoot, and you may use them for any lawful purpose, including commercially.
- Outputs come from third-party AI models. Similar prompts can produce similar results for other people, and we cannot guarantee that an output is unique or free of third-party rights.
- You are responsible for checking that your use of an output is lawful, including trademarks, likeness and copyright.
- Files we save are labelled as AI-generated in their metadata, and face swaps carry a visible label. Do not remove these labels to mislead people.
5. What you bring
- You keep the rights to photos, videos, logos and other files you upload or link. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service.
- You confirm you have the right to use what you upload or link, including any person’s face, voice or likeness. For face swaps you must have each person’s consent.
- Uploaded files are temporary: they are deleted once a generation uses them, or after 24 hours. Brand kit logos are kept until you delete them.
6. Acceptable use
Your use must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may refuse a request, remove content and suspend or close accounts that break it, without refunding credits used for prohibited content.
7. Third-party services
Generations run on AI models from third parties (through fal.ai), payments on Stripe, storage on Cloudflare and email on Resend. Their availability, quality and content filters are outside our full control. A provider may refuse a prompt; when it does, your credits are returned.
8. The service as it is
We work to keep Typeshoot available and accurate, but the service and its outputs are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. AI outputs can be wrong, odd or unsuitable; review them before you rely on them.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
10. Closing your account
You can stop using Typeshoot at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. If we close your account without cause, we refund your unused purchased credits.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with its date, and tell you by email about significant changes. Continuing to use Typeshoot after a change means you accept it.
12. Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Country], and its courts handle disputes, without taking away the protections of the law where you live if you are a consumer.
